Im a flip flop wearin, rainy day lovin, sleeping late under the covers hippie soul. Im a 31 year old wife and mother of two who feels infinitely younger than those 31 years. I love all things paisley and anything thats old and has a story. Im Lauren and sometimes I try too hard but at least I try.

Our last stop on vacation, one of great importance. We thought it would be a huge disservice to be in Memphis and not stop at the Civil Rights Museum. It’s located at the Lorraine Motel, the site of Dr. Martin Luther King Jrs death. It was moving and powerful. It’s sad to think of all the good that could have come from Dr. King if not for that day, but his legacy definitely lives on and what he accomplished in his life time is nothing short of amazing. We have come a long way but there is still work to be done.

Asking for prayers for Oklahoma for one more night. Severe, severe storms going through with tornadoes on the ground yet again. It’s supposed to be a very bad night for my state and to say we are all very concerned is a major understatement.

Asking for prayers for Oklahoma right now, very dangerous storms are moving through, AGAIN,that have already produced tornadoes. These storms are supposed to continue for the next few days :(
