Truth:
I HATE Quick-books! Loath!
Maybe its just a hard transition from the system Ive used the past few years, but the way its set up just doesn’t make any sense to me. Some things that would seem to be common sense moves are nonexistant in the program.
Am I the only one that feels this way? It appears to be widely used, but am I the only one complaining about it?

Truth:
I cry during almost every episode of Parenthood, but after seeing the previews for tonight’s season finale…. Richard is probably going to think I’m having a breakdown due to all the tears.
I’m not ready.
A Little History on Where We Stayed
In 1886 construction began on the Crescent Hotel by the Eureka Springs Improvement Co. & the Frisco Railroad. They hoped to capitalize on the popularity of the local springs and the claims of the waters healing properties. It was planned for the highest peak in Eureka, nestled onto 25 acres in the Ozark Mountains.
Stonemasons from Ireland were brought in to quarry and place the massive...
We had such an amazing weekend and I took SO MANY pictures, but none of them seem to do justice to what we saw. I’m going to do a few photo posts to try and share some of the beauty that surrounded us.
There is nothing better than sinking in to a soft bed, full of pillows and covered in fresh out of the dryer linens.
whiskeybentandhellbound asked: So...whatever happened with the meat?
Truth:
(Because I just got done eating brownies)
I am not an “edge person”. I much prefer the soft, chewy middle ones to the hard crunchy edge pieces.
We are moving our office tomorrow and over the weekend, which is good and bad. The good: I will no longer be in a windowless, toilet-less, non heated/non air conditioned box that we fashioned in to a makeshift office. The bad: moving sucks.
Actually, we are moving back in to the building of our previous employers as they have pulled their business out of our state completely. I love that we get...
Richard is on his way back to the store to return the 8 year old meat product, I just got off the phone with their corporate office and a not so nice letter is in the making.
Maybe it was a misprint on the package but I don’t think its my job as the consumer to have to guess. I don’t think I should be put in a position where my family’s health is at jeopardy due to deficient...
I need some hotel suggestions in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The hubbs and I are in desperate need of a vacation and so are my parents so I would like to plan a long weekend for the four of us sometime this spring. Ive visited twice before, once staying a few minutes out of town and the second time staying right on Bourbon.
I LOVED staying right in the heart of things because we...
We just got the news that Richards father passed away today. It was sudden, unexpected and the second death in that family since the first of the year. Richards grandmother lost her husband a few short weeks ago and now she has lost a son.
Richard and his dad had a complicated, strained relationship that was starting on the path to mending but time ran out.
Hug the people you love today, call...
Husband to the rescue! Ive never been the kind of girl who wanted or needed to be rescued but I have never learned to change a tire, that is going to change now. It’s actually pretty sad that I’m a thirty year old woman who doesn’t know how to do that for myself, but I’ve never had a flat tire.
On the bright side: my tire is now being fixed, I got a shirt on sale for $6,...
My current situation:
I’m sitting in my car in front of Sears, on the coldest day of the year so far. With a flat tire.

Tomorrow is family game night with the in-laws and I’m in charge of bringing the snacks. Do you guys have anything that is easy to transport and a big hit at such events that you could suggest?
Crying at my desk, awesome. This day can officially kiss my ass.
Ordering our new couches! So excited! It’s hard to write that check but they are SO pretty :)
I am not a runner, but tonight Im going to run. It may be for just a few short minutes but Im going to do it.
Caleb will be 14 in just under three months and last night he asked his girlfriend out on what will be his first date EVER. While I’m excited for him to move in to this stage of life, my heart jumped into my throat a little. Then dropped all the way to my toes.
Dating at his age is exciting and new, and while there will be hearts that need to be mended along the way, its a real step forward...
I think my sisters wedding may actually kill me.
Details to follow if I survive this insane day.
I just bought some new curtains for the living room to go along with the new furniture, and I’m far more excited than I probably should be. Such is the life of grown up me I suppose. New curtains, appliances & books make me feel like a kid at Christmas.
Fingers crossed they look as fabulous in person as they do online.

Its currently 72 outside.
I share an office with my dad and he has the heater on. I’m freaking melting!
I do believe I am the only person who is mourning...
I want snow.
Paisley wants snow too, its basically like crack to her.
I want it to be cold outside so I can wear the scarf I made myself.
I want to get a few days off work because of the snow so I can get extra snuggle time with my furry family members. (The hubbs too)
I like my winter clothes way better than the summer ones.
